The Oasis in Kanata

Ottawa based, non profit organization, dedicated to assisting individuals and families coping with anxiety disorders.
Anxiety Treatment and Research Centre
Made up of clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals, as well as students and trainees. Provides clinical services for anxiety related disorders.
National Alliance on Mental Illness
This link will take you to the Ottawa branch. They offer a 12 week course to educate and assist families dealing with mental illness.
The National Organization for Mental Health
Mental Health Information and Referral Service (within CMHA)
The MHCSS Intake Workers, along with the staff at CMHA and partner agencies staff, offer information on mental health services, referrals to needed/wanted services, needs assessments, education, advocacy, and consultation to any Ottawa resident.
To access this service, contact the CMHA at (613) 737-7791, 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, and ask for the Information and Referral staff.
